HY.AIR wins FeuerTrutz Award 2024 in the category Sustainability

26. Juni 2024

In 2024, the most popular fire protection products were honored with the “Product of the Year” award by FeuerTrutz Network for the 14th time.

As the only preventive fire protection system based on a fuel cell, the HY.AIR 80 uses the low-oxygen exhaust air produced during the energy conversion of hydrogen to reduce the oxygen content in warehouses, thus not only creating a permanent protective atmosphere, but also generating emission-free electricity and heat. The multiple use and the associated combined efficiency of over 90% convinced the expert jury and the participants in the online vote. Especally for the multiple use not only reduces operating costs, but also relieves the burden on the environment.

The popular trophy was presented to Lars Frahm and Andreas Exler, Managing Directors of HY.AIR Energy, at the FeuerTrutz trade fair in Nuremberg: "We are grateful for this fantastic award, which above all honours our contribution to greater sustainability. Our system also rewards the user, because we produce clean electricity and heat " alongside" and that is also good for the wallet, not least because there is no need for costly installations for an emergency power supply."
